While the toners in the market which contain alcohol do quickly close up my open pores upon application, they have stripped my skin of its moisture. This product smells super good and is always a pleasure to apply to the face. It does not immediately close up the pores upon application but it has shown more long term benefit. My open pores on the nose and cheeks are smaller now. Happy to use a product that is more mild on the skin!
